If you’ve been following me for a while then hopefully by now you know the importance of refreshing your (bed) pillow cases frequently, so I wanted to talk about something that I think everyone overlooks : The Couch Pillow.
If you’re like me, you love to snuggle up on the couch under a big blanket, scrolling on the phone & watching TV. This can be good or not so good for your skin! Good if your couch is extremely hygienic, pristine, & clean. Not so good if your’re like 89% of Americans who lead normal lives and actually use their couch for every day living.
Chip crumbs, kid stuff, slob, other people’s booties & ALL KINDS OF OTHER STUFF can make it onto your couch & pillows and wreak havoc on your skin if you are not mindful to wash, switch out, disinfect and/or etc. IMO couch pillows pick up WAY more free radicals & bacteria than bed pillows which is why I’m teaching you everything I know about having a healthy house for healthy skin in my upcoming skincare masterclass 11/23! #beyourownesthetician
